PTO is highly experienced and certified to perform butt-weld/electro fusion in many applications. Plant site firewater systems, subdivision piping, and directional drilling runs are some of the most common jobs we have accomplished to date.

H.D.P.E piping is also commonly used in the mining industry, golf courses, farms, irrigation, and many other areas. PTO is capable of tackling jobs of various different sizes for whatever the application may be.
Niron Socket Fusion
PTO covers a wide variety of every day hot tap situations as well as specialty hot taps with experience handling oil, water and gas. Our equipment ranges from 1/2" - 24". Using our custom long stroke technology, we are also able to tackle situations where extra long bit travel is required.

Our machines can drill into a variety of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, AC, C900, and HDPE. PTO will accommodate for high-pressure concrete if the need arises.
Additionally, PTO performs cold taps (dead line or purged line taps). We are willing to adapt and customize bits and cutters to meet your needs.

PTO performs hydrostatic/pressure testing on various types of piping systems. Our experienced technicians are able to conform to specific codes of practice and testing parameters to achieve desired test results and proving piping integrity and soundness. PTO takes great pride in ensuring compliance with the Alberta Environment's legislative requirements in an effort to eliminate any potential impacts on the environment.
